Meals

All meals during Founders' Day 2026 are included. Be sure to note any accommodations for food allergies or dietary requirements in your RSVP survey.

Attire

Comfortable and casual. Bring good walking shoes and a layer or two for cooler mornings and evenings.

Getting There

Wednesday, September 30

San Francisco shuttle

Departs 2:00 pm

Please meet the Reach staff liaisons near the shuttle pick-up location at the Ferry Building on Embarcadero (the White Loading Zone curbside area directly in front of the building) between 1:30 pm – 2:00 pm to gather and wait for the shuttle. The shuttle cannot stage curbside for very long, so it will arrive just before 2:00 pm to load luggage and passengers.

The shuttle departs at 2:00 pm with an anticipated arrival to Scotts Valley around 3:30 pm.

Palo Alto shuttle

Departs 3:00 pm

Please meet the shuttle at the Palo Alto Caltrain Station parking lot between 2:30 pm – 3:00 pm to check in with the Reach staff and load your luggage onto the shuttle.

The shuttle departs at 3:00 pm with an anticipated arrival to Scotts Valley around 4:00 pm.

Note: There is no overnight parking at this lot. Please plan to take Caltrain to Palo Alto, get dropped off, or use rideshare to connect with the shuttle.

Arriving on your own

3:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Driving: Parking is available in the Lower Parking Lot — follow the signs once on campus. Please arrive between 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm.

Rideshare: Please get dropped off at The Lodge (on your left after turning onto Bethany Drive).

Please note: The venue advises that rideshares can be difficult to source on departure day, so it’s recommended you afford plenty of time for your return to the airport — beach traffic can create delays or limit rideshare availability.

If you’d like to take the Reach-provided shuttle from either San Francisco or Palo Alto, please email ia@reachcapital.com by September 19 and we’ll add you to this transportation.

If your plans have changed and you will no longer take the shuttle, please notify ia@reachcapital.com by September 21 so our records can be updated.

Check-In

  1. 1When you arrive at 1440 Multiversity, make your way to The Lodge to pick up your event badge and room key. Your event badge will have a campus map in it.
  2. 2You’ll then be directed to the event check-in area to connect with the Reach team.
  3. 3If your room is ready, drop your luggage there. If not, you’ll be able to store it and head to your room when it’s available.

Your Stay

1440 is a private campus — please wear your event badge at all times.

Guest room details

Each guest room is equipped with air conditioning, complimentary Wi-Fi, alarm clock, in-room safe, eco-friendly shampoo, hair conditioner and body wash, hair dryer, emergency flashlight, and clothing rack. Most rooms have windows that open.

Rooms do not include room service, TVs, fridges, mini-bars, irons, steamers, coffee makers, or phones.

Dietary accommodations

The venue has the dietary details you shared in your RSVP. At each meal, let the culinary team member making your plate know of your needs. Any issues, find a Reach staff member.

WiFi access

WiFi access is complimentary and does not require a password. Look for the venue's network on your phone or laptop once on campus.

Smoke- & flame-free

1440 is a no-smoking campus, including tobacco, cannabis, and vaping. As a flame-free wooded environment, items such as candles, incense, sage, and other similar materials are requested to be left at home.

Drinks & snacks

Beer and wine will be offered in the evening; no hard alcohol is available on campus. Common Grounds offers free coffee and healthy snacks daily, generally 6:30 am – 10:00 pm — but no sandwiches, salads, or other light meals. Each room tower also has a coffee machine and water dispenser on the ground level.

Check-Out & Departure

Friday, October 2

Check-out takes place between 7:00 am – 9:00 am on Friday, October 2. Breakfast is from 7:30 am – 8:30 am. Your luggage will be stored for you while you enjoy the remainder of Founders’ Day 2026.
