Includes a 2-night stay (unless you tell us otherwise). About 1 hr 15 min from SFO, 45 min from SJC. Details about your stay below.

Meals

All meals during Founders' Day 2026 are included. Be sure to note any accommodations for food allergies or dietary requirements in your RSVP survey.

Attire

Comfortable and casual. Bring walking shoes, layers for cooler mornings and evenings, and clothes suitable for light exercise, yoga, and walking or hiking.

Getting There

Wednesday, September 30

Flying into SFO Wednesday morning? Take a rideshare to the Palo Alto pickup point or directly to 1440. Transportation is based on your RSVP survey.

1 Ferry Building, San Francisco, CA 94111

Meet the Reach team by 1:15pm at the Ferry Building White Loading Zone to check in and load your luggage.

The bus departs at 1:30pm; we expect to arrive at 1440 around 3:30pm.

Check-In

When you arrive, head first to The Lodge, where you’ll:

  1. 1Pick up your room key and event badge.
  2. 2Check in with the Reach team.
  3. 3Drop your luggage in your room, if it’s ready, or leave it with 1440 until check-in.

Your Stay

1440 is a private campus — please wear your event badge at all times.

Guest room details

Each guest room is equipped with air conditioning, complimentary Wi-Fi, alarm clock, in-room safe, eco-friendly shampoo, hair conditioner and body wash, hair dryer, emergency flashlight, and clothing rack. Most rooms have windows that open.

Rooms do not include room service, TVs, fridges, mini-bars, irons, steamers, coffee makers, or phones.

Dietary accommodations

The venue has the dietary details you shared in your RSVP. At each meal, let the culinary team member making your plate know of your needs. Any issues, find a Reach staff member.

WiFi access

WiFi access is complimentary and does not require a password. Look for the venue's network on your phone or laptop once on campus.

Smoke- & flame-free

1440 is a no-smoking campus, including tobacco, cannabis, and vaping. As a flame-free wooded environment, items such as candles, incense, sage, and other similar materials are requested to be left at home.

Drinks & snacks

Beer and wine will be offered in the evening; no hard alcohol is available on campus. Common Grounds offers free coffee and healthy snacks daily, generally 6:30am – 10:00pm — but no sandwiches, salads, or other light meals. Each room tower also has a coffee machine and water dispenser on the ground level.

Check-Out & Departure

Friday, October 2

Check-out takes place between 7:00am – 9:00am on Friday, October 2. Breakfast is from 8:15am – 9:15am. Your luggage will be stored for you while you enjoy the remainder of Founders’ Day 2026.

The event concludes at 1:00pm. Return buses depart 1440 at 1:30pm, with estimated arrival in Palo Alto around 3:00pm and San Francisco around 4:00pm.

Getting a car from 1440 can take time, particularly on departure day, so please build in extra time for your return travel.
